Message From Mr. Marshall

Dear Webster Stanley Middles School Families and Friends,

I hope you are all staying safe and healthy as we continue in Model 4:Virtual Learning. We truly wish we could have all of our students for in-person learning. Hopefully the COVID numbers will come back down and we can transition back to that as soon as possible. While we are in Model 4, we really need your help! Student engagement is key to the success of this learning model. Therefore, it's important for students to join their live lessons for instruction, to register their attendance, and to complete and submit their homework. Teachers are telling me that a significant number of students are either not joining the lessons and/or not completing their homework. Please reach out to their teachers if there is a problem of any kind. We are here to help you and to set your student up for success. Our first progress reports will be coming your way next week. Be sure to look it over and let us know how we can help your student engage if the report is not what you had hoped. Let's work together and make the best of the situation.

Sincerely,

Mr. Marshall

Note From The Nurse

Webster Families,

In an effort to still track return-to-school dates for students, we would like you to continue to notify your student's school when they have symptoms or have been a close contact/household contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID. Also, if your Webster student or family member tests Positive, please let us know as well. Please call 920-509-0265 or email marni.depeau@oshkosh.k12.wi or teresa.doemel@oshkosh.k12.wi.us or erin.kules@oshkosh.k12.wi.us. State your name, your student's name, symptoms experiencing, grade, date of birth, any other family members that have been exposed to Covid 19 or is experiencing  symptoms, date of start of symptoms or date of exposure.

I realize this is a daunting task during this busy time of year, however, if we can help capture data it would be a significant help in stopping the spread.

Thank you in advance for your efforts. #Break the chain of transmission.

Sincerely, Marni DePeau
