Clubs and Activities
Acapella Club
Grade: 7/8
Advisor: Mr. Britz
Our WSMS Acapella group, Tempo ture’s Rising, is combined of all 7th - 8th grade students interested in singing in an Acapella group and performing at upcoming concerts for WSMS and the district. Rehearsal takes place over the lunch hour on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Forensics
Grade: 6/7/8
Advisor:
Forensics is an experience in public speaking. Students from all grade levels are welcome. This activity will increase poise, self-confidence, and is fun! Participants practice with coaches and choose categories such as poetry, prose, news reporting, sole acting, group interpretation, and others. This is a winter club with competitions November - February.
Ski Club
Grade: 6/7/8
Advisor:
This club encourages outdoor adventure in the Winter months. Students from all grade levels are welcome to come and enjoy skiing or snowboarding at Nordic Mountain. Trip dates vary from December - February on Friday evenings after school. Sign up is usually around November. Students must be in good standing to participate.
Student Newspaper

Advisor:
Students write articles, take pictures, and report on topics of interest to them. This fun, creative activity is open to all students. Our school newspaper has gone digital and is broadcast on the web. Students can participate in 6-8 grades!
Art Club
Grade: 7/8
Advisor:
Students meet during their recess and lunch once a week in the art room and work on projects using different media. This club is open to all 7th and 8th grade students in good standing. Club starts in September, but anyone can join at anytime.
Student Council

The purpose of the Webster Stanley Middle School Student Council is to support the educational climate of the school by providing extracurricular activities and services such as: socials/dances, concessions, special days, fundraisers, and other activities to promote school spirit. Any Webster student may fill out and submit application papers to be on student council. Students must be in good standing to participate.
